Privacy notice

Your data is processed by Liderii de Mâine, which decides how and why it is used (the data controller).

You can write to us at any time at contact@lideriidemaine.ro.

• contact details: your name, email address and phone number;
• study details: university, faculty and year of study;
• your answers in the application form;
• your progress through recruitment: your interview booking and attendance, your evaluation and the outcome;
• technical data from when you apply (such as your IP address and browser), used for security and so we can show what you confirmed;
• data about your visit to the site, only if you accept cookies (see the “Cookies” section).

The fields marked as required in the form are needed to apply. Without them we cannot process your application.

• Running the recruitment process: your application, interview booking, evaluation, the outcome, and the messages about all of these. Legal basis: steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Invitations to later events: for up to 12 months after recruitment ends, we may invite you to events or to future Liderii de Mâine rounds. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Feedback surveys: after your interview, and again a few days after your result, we may send you a short, optional survey about the process. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving recruitment (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Security: protecting our forms against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Visit analytics and campaign measurement, only if you accept cookies: we learn how visitors find the site and whether applications come from our promotional campaigns. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can object to invitations and surveys at any time, with no effect on your application: use the unsubscribe link in the survey or write to us.

Recruitment decisions are made by people, not automatically.

We keep your data for the duration of the recruitment process and for at most 12 months after it ends, then delete or anonymise it.

• Liderii de Mâine team members involved in recruitment, each only to the data they need;
• service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, storage, message delivery, form protection), who process the data only on our behalf and on our instructions;
• web analytics and advertising partners, only if you accept cookies (see the “Cookies” section);
• public authorities, only when the law requires it.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer happens only with the safeguards GDPR requires, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

We never sell your data. The data in your application form never reaches advertising partners.

The site's public pages use analytics and marketing cookies only if you agree in the cookie banner. Until you accept, we do not load them at all.

With your consent, our web analytics and advertising partners receive technical data about your visit: the pages you view, how you reached the site, your browser and device, your IP address and identifiers stored in cookies. We use this to understand how visitors find us and how well our promotional campaigns work. Some partners also use this data for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies, and may process it outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards described above.

Cookies stay in your browser for a limited time, usually between a few months and two years, or until you delete them.

We keep your choice only in your browser. You can change it at any time from “Cookie settings” at the foot of the page, and you can delete cookies already stored from your browser settings. Refusing or withdrawing your consent does not affect your application.

You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, and receive it in a portable format. You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).
